Via Employment Services - Community Employment
In today’s competitive environment, the costs of hiring, attrition and other recruiting and staffing expenses are a major drain on corporations. Via Employment Services can provide you with the people who fit your needs. Our extensive assessment process means you get quality people who have the skills you require.
Via’s Job Developers take the time to match the employee with the employer. Prior to recommending a prospective employee, an extensive vocational assessment has taken place to determine the prospect’s work abilities and interests. Assessments are conducted in the community at actual businesses to provide the prospect the opportunity to experience real community employment.
How do you find talented staff?
Your company is still only as good as the people who work there.
Via job developers work with businesses to create jobs that fit the abilities and dreams of Via consumers. Via job coaches provide one-on-one job development and job coaching, and support to the participating business partner. Support continues as long as is needed but typically fades out as the consumer becomes familiar with their job.
Via’s employment consultants work closely with prospective employers to provide quality employees whose skills benefit the company’s productivity, efficiency and profitability. Once a position is identified, Via provides consultation and assistance to the employer and on-the- job-training and orientation for the employee. This support continues as long as is needed, but typically becomes unnecessary as the employee becomes acclimated to the work situation and responsibilities. Via employment consultants remain available to employers for questions or other help.
To meet today’s ever-changing workforce needs, businesses throughout the Lehigh Valley are turning to adults with disabilities to strengthen their labor force. Via of the Lehigh Valley’s Employment Services will help to deliver bottom-line value to your business through its quality staffing solutions.
Extensive Assessment Process and Job Coaching
Prior to recommending a prospective employee, an extensive vocational assessment is conducted to determine work abilities and interests of the Via consumer. Assessments are conducted at local businesses to provide the opportunity to experience community employment. Via’s job developers match the Via consumer with employers based on this assessment.
Once a position is identified, Via provides a job coach for each employee who offers consultation and assistance to the employer, as well as, on-the-job orientation and training for the employee. This support continues as long as needed but typically becomes unnecessary as the employee becomes acclimated to the work situation and responsibilities. Via employment consultants and job coaches remain available to employers for questions and help in the future.
