Via’s Employment Services

Work is a typical adult responsibility and everyone should
have the opportunity to contribute to the employed community. People with disabilities want what most people want — a job with real wages in or around our community.

Via focuses on a person’s abilities and provides support needed for success. Employing someone from Via means more than workforce diversification - the partnerships Via establishes in the business community are having a positive impact on the way the public perceives people with disabilities.

This service is available to any adult who is motivated to work for wages in a competitive job. Via focuses on career planning and helps adults with disabilities as they move into the workforce.

It has been Via’s experience that when people with disabilities find meaningful work with the accompanying benefits like income and social interaction, their overall life satisfaction improves. Their economic power increases and their self-image improve.
