LVHN Marathon for Via Announces Exciting Additions and Enhancements to this Year’s Event
(July 22, 2011) Via of the Lehigh Valley announced exciting additions and enhancements today to the Lehigh Valley Health Network Marathon for Via. Coming up on Sunday, September 11, the addition of several events has expanded the LVHN Marathon for Via into a weekend of activity in the Lehigh Valley.
Via Names Vice President of Operations and Business Development
(June 14, 2011) Via of the Lehigh Valley named Jim Backer as Vice President of Operations and Business Development. Backer will lead Via’s thrift store operations and its Business and Industrial Services group. His responsibilities include planning, production, supply chain and logistics optimization, market expansion and the development of an integrated business model.
Lehigh Valley Health Network Marathon for Via Growth Prompts Partnership with National Event Organizers
(May 11, 2011) In response to the growth experienced over the past four years, Via of the Lehigh Valley announced a partnership today with two nationally recognized event managers for the Lehigh Valley Health Network Marathon for Via. MSG Promotions, owned and operated by Mimi Griffin, and Barb McKeever, race director for the Philadelphia Triathlon and SheROX Triathlon series, will work together with Via to manage the Lehigh Valley Health Network Marathon for Via (LVHN Marathon for Via).
Via All-Star Basketball Classic Announces Players, Lead Sponsor
and Speaker
(February 17, 2011) The teams have been picked and the match-ups set for what promises to be a riveting day of end-to-end, high-spirited basketball for this year’s Via All-Star Classic. The best players in the greater Lehigh Valley have been chosen to represent their high schools in the 36th annual Via All-Star Basketball Classic which raises funds for Via of the Lehigh Valley’s programs for adults and children with disabilities. The Via All-Star Classic is presented by First Niagara Bank.
